Project Info:
Renovation projects can be the most challenging projects. This design-build renovation project with Altman + Barrett Architects had its own unique set of challenges. Along with outdated facilities, the football stadium also had an insufficient storm water outfall that was creating drainage problems.
To address the outdated facilities, a new retaining wall was constructed and stadium seating was moved closer to the field of play. A new press box was added to the top of the stands. Restrooms and concession areas were constructed. Add in new concrete sidewalks and gathering areas, and an exciting Friday night football atmosphere was created.
To address storm water drainage issues new storm water inlets and piping were installed. A new storm water outfall was constructed. Harrell & Jackson provided site grading design, storm water drainage design, domestic water design, sanitary sewer design, and erosion control design.
